The Picnics at Hazendal Wine Estate celebrate freshness, seasonality and a sense of generous abundance. Each basket is thoughtfully curated using locally sourced ingredients, bringing together artisanal breads and home-made spreads, vibrant garden salads, carefully prepared meats, and a selection of local cheeses and charcuterie.



From pull-apart brioche and herb ciabatta with hummus and olive tapenade, to chimichurri beef skirt steak, to watermelon and mint salad, and ending with a delicate strawberry matcha cheesecake, the picnics are both relaxed and refined. It is a farm-to-blanket experience designed to be shared, enjoyed slowly and perfectly paired with the Estate’s wines.
