Homecoming: A Renewal to Self
 22 December 2025 – 23 February 2026

A return, not only to place, but to the self. Homecoming: A Renewal to Self brings together Cape Town-based artists whose practices are rooted in material, memory, and making. Working with clay, plant matter, and pigment, these artists follow the ebb and flow of transformation and belonging. Their acts of making become forms of homecoming, to lineage, landscape, body, and inner ground, gestures of renewal that mirror our reconnection with the natural world. The exhibition explores homecoming as a cyclical process: of return and regeneration, of tending what has been sown, both seen and unseen. Each work offers an intimate moment of reflection, inviting us to pause, reconnect, and become whole again. Catriona Towriss | Karlien van Rooyen | Lungiswa Joe | Melissa Barker | Siyabonga Fani
