General

Giveaways
  • All contestants must reside in South Africa, be 18 years of age or older, and not be employed by Hazendal, our affiliates, subsidiaries, nor be members of immediate family or households.
  • Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.
  • Contestants must follow the instructions outlined in the giveaway post on our Social Media platforms. Any entries that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will be disqualified.
  • The winner and a substitute winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received by the deadline. The winner will be announced on our Social Media stories which is available for 24 hours. The winner must send us a direct message on social media to claim their prize. If the winner did not respond within 7-days of the announcement the prize will be handed over to the substitute winner.

Booking

Is it essential to book?

Yes, you can book either online or when you arrive. Our online booking process is easy, so why not get it done in advance? We can’t guarantee there will be space available if you arrive without a booking.

Arrival

When should we arrive and what do we have to do?
  • Please arrive about 15 minutes before your booked time slot so that we have plenty of time to get you ready for admission.
  • If you booked online, please bring your booking conformation in order for your ticket to be issued.
  • Walk-ins need to complete an indemnity form and make payment for their ticket to be issued.
  • If you’re running late, contact us on +27 21 2055624.
  • After registration you will receive a bracelet and socks
Do we need to present our ticket?

Safety

How safe is it?
  • When you book, you need to read and accept our Terms & Conditions.
  • When the children are dropped off at the Centre, we will ask the adult who brings the children to confirm who will collect them.
  • The person who will collect the children will be sent an SMS with a 6 digit code. When the children are collected, this 6 digit code must be presented.
  • Subject to our Terms & Conditions, children will not be able to leave Wonderdal unless the authorized person is there to meet them.

What should we wear and bring?

The Wonderdal experience includes physical activities such as climbing and crawling, so kids need to wear comfy clothes. Don’t forget hats and sunscreen as we also have some outdoor activities!

No food or drinks are allowed inside Wonderdal, but Hazendal Wine Estate has many culinary options to keep you happy.

Wonderdal’s colourful world of creativity and learning is ideal for family-friendly adventures in the winelands, as well as school groups wanting to develop life skills and broaden the learning experience in the worlds of science and nature. With private spaces and well-trained staff on hand to supervise, Wonderdal has also become a popular venue for children’s birthday parties in the winelands.
